A leading Hindi activist, a well known academician, a T.V. producer and an eminent scholar of language teaching & technology Prof. Ashok Chakradhar is a famous face of contemporary Hindi poetry.
He was Professor in the Department of Hindi at Jamia Millia Islamia University in Delhi. Presently he is the Vice chairman of Kendriya Hindi Shikshan Mandal, Agra as well as the Vice Chairman of Hindi Academy, Delhi. Besides it he is also the Coordinator (Hindi) of Institute of Life Long Learning,Delhi University,Delhi.
The common mass knows him better for his tremendous poems, whipping satires, & heart touching performances but furthermore he is a firm supporter of Hindi and believes that Localized Information & communication technology is the future gateway of progress for Hindi and other Indian languages. These languages can survive only in the environment of linguistic and cultural exchange.
